Bathu announced #1 most admired South Africa brand by Brand Africa

Johannesburg, 03 March 2023: South African brand Bathu, has another reason to celebrate as it was announced the #1 most Admired South African brand for the second time and ranked number 52 on the top 100 Most Admired best brand in Africa by Brand Africa.

“We are thrilled to be announced as the #1 most admired brand in South Africa,  based on the premise that Bathu is devoted in bringing about change and bettering the lives of Africans through the work we do on the continent – the honour of being in the top 100 in Africa comes with even greater gravitas and gratitude,” says Cedrick Diphoko, Managing Director at Bathu.

Brand Africa is an intergenerational movement that seeks to inspire a brand-led African renaissance to drive Africa’s competitiveness, connect Africa and create a positive image of the continent. It recognises brands that drive growth and reputation and its goal is to drive a brand-led transformation of the continent’s brand, image and wealth.

Brand Africa conducted a study within 29 African countries  with over 180 000 unique brands that contributes 85 % of Africa’s GDP.
