6 September 2023, Johannesburg – Today FlySafair announced that they will be extending their sponsorship of the Springbok Rugby team for a further five years, making them the official local carrier for the team until 2029. The airline first began its sponsorship of the national team in 2017. Over the years the airline has shown its support for the team not only through its sponsorship but also through epic flyover displays and by decorating their aircraft in Springbok-themed livery.
