Theo Baloyi opens his 34th store

Theo Baloyi, CEO of Bathu, is ecstatic that his 34th store has finally opened and that it is situated in the richest square mile in Africa.

Many aspiring businesspeople have been motivated to pursue their aspirations by Baloyi’s experience.

Bathu was founded in 2015 after Theo decided to quit his 9-to-5 job as an accountant to commit to telling proudly untold township stories and he’s since grown from strength to strength.

Some of Mzansi’s top elites, including entertainer Busiswa, DJ Lamiez Holworthy, singer Cici, and actress Rami Chuene, turned out to support and witness the businessman’s milestone on October 6 when the 34th store was officially opened.

Theo discussed his journey from starting in Alex to providing his customers with a unique customer experience in the richest square kilometer of Africa, demonstrating that anything is possible.

“I sincerely appreciate it because without our people, we wouldn’t be at our 34th store. There is such a big contrast between our first store and this one, and so much growth has resulted from it. Journey hasn’t been simple at all.

He wrote “From a room in Alex to Diamond walk. We officially opened our 34th store in SANDTON. Thank you to everyone who supported us and believed in our vision, selling from the boot of my car to 34 stores. @bathu_sa Walk Your Journey”
