The Edenvale Lions Basketball Academy (ELBA) is thrilled to announce the upcoming Vale Tournament (TVT) 2024, set to take place from November 27th to December 1st at the iconic Ellis Park Indoor Arena. This year’s tournament will not only showcase the best junior basketball talent from across South Africa and beyond but also feature a remarkable R1,000,000 prize for the champions, elevating the competition to new heights.
Since its inception in 2013, ELBA has transformed from a humble initiative into a cornerstone of South African basketball and community development. Their commitment to the sport, along with a focus on mentorship, environmental sustainability, and community engagement, has positioned ELBA as a beacon of hope and opportunity for young athletes.
The Vale Tournament, a hallmark of ELBA’s efforts since 2019, aims to celebrate and nurture local talent while providing a platform for teams to compete at the highest level. With the support of major partners, including Brand SA, Supa Quick, SABC, and Vodacom, this year’s tournament promises to be a thrilling showcase of basketball prowess.
