The Straata Nation

In a dazzling showcase that will forever be etched in Amapiano history, Focalistic, also known as Lethabo Sebetso, celebrated the triumph of his one-man show, The Straata Nation Address. The event, held at the picturesque Pretoria National Botanic Gardens, not only marked a career milestone for the rising star but also solidified his position as the President of the Streets.

Despite the stress that accompanies organizing such a grand event, Focalistic’s determination shone through as he plans to make The Straata Nation Address an annual spectacle. The open-air venue, bathed in neon lights and resonating with Amapiano beats, witnessed an overwhelming turnout of 15,000 music enthusiasts who answered Focalistic’s call for a night of unity and musical celebration.

The star-studded line-up featured Amapiano royalty, with stellar performances by Blxckie, G-Tech 2bit, DJ Tshegu, Sjava, Murdah Bongz, Dj PH, Tyler ICU, Pabi Cooper, and the dynamic duo Mellow & Sleazy. Surprise guest acts from Ch’cco, M.J, and Eeque left the crowd in awe.

Focalistic, a musician, businessman, and all-around entrepreneur, shared his journey of blending a political science degree with his passion for music. His songs, rooted in real-life issues, aim to inspire the youth in his community.

Speaking on the enduring nature of Amapiano, Focalistic believes it’s the most genuine genre, seamlessly merging with South African culture. Describing Amapiano as the “revenge of the South African ancestors,” he sees it as a positive and lasting vibe, encapsulating the true spirit of the nation.

Adding another feather to his cap, Focalistic expressed excitement about his collaboration with Jägermeister. From a humble beginning to seeing his face on Jägermeister bottles, he acknowledges the brand’s belief in his vision, turning the collaboration into a family affair.

As Focalistic continues to soar, The Straata Nation Address not only cements his status as an Amapiano luminary but also promises an annual extravaganza for fans to revel in the vibrant spirit of South African music.
