Telkom has claimed the prestigious title of Best Mobile Provider in South Africa, awarded by the 2024 Ask Afrika Orange Index. This impressive accolade arrives as Telkom proudly celebrates reaching a major milestone—20 million loyal customers.  The Ask Afrika Orange Index has long been recognised as the definitive benchmark for customer experience excellence since its inception in 2001.  This year Telkom surged to the top solidifying its place as the nation’s leading mobile provider.

The Ask Afrika Orange Index is renowned as the most comprehensive customer experience benchmark in South Africa. It not only tracks consumer trends but also provides invaluable insights into brand performance across 26 industries. In a recent announcement at the GIBS Business School in Melville, Telkom was celebrated as the leading mobile operator in South Africa, surpassing competitors Vodacom and Cell C.
