At a time when women are expected to excel in boardrooms, build businesses, raise families, lead communities and navigate personal challenges with unwavering resilience, one platform is asking an important question: Who is supporting the women carrying everyone else?
That question lies at the heart of Her Brunch 2026, an empowering women’s gathering returning with the theme “Her Shoulders, My Strength”, a timely conversation celebrating the women who uplift, mentor and strengthen others through every season of life.
Following the overwhelming success of its inaugural event in 2025, which united women from diverse industries through powerful storytelling, honest dialogue and meaningful connections, Her Brunch has evolved into more than an annual event. It is fast becoming a growing movement dedicated to creating intentional spaces where women can connect beyond titles, achievements and expectations.
Founder Nkateko Mabindisa says the inspiration behind Her Brunch came after experiencing first-hand the transformative power of women gathering to share authentic stories. “Women don’t always need another networking event. Sometimes they simply need a space where they feel seen, heard and understood. Her Brunch exists to remind women that no one succeeds alone, and that behind every strong woman is another who helped carry her.”
The 2026 edition will feature some of South Africa’s most respected voices in leadership, entrepreneurship, wellness and personal development. The event’s closing keynote will be delivered by renowned entrepreneur and Agenda Women Founder & CEO Nomndeni Mdakhi, whose work in advancing women’s leadership and entrepreneurship inspired the creation of Her Brunch itself.
The programme also features influential women whose personal and professional journeys continue to inspire thousands across the country, including entrepreneur and wellness advocate Sonia Booth, entrepreneur Dr Tumelo Makamu, author Jabulile Khumalo, breast cancer survivor and advocate Seipati “Miss Gates” Masango, with respected media personality Tumelo Mothotoane facilitating the day’s conversations.
Unlike traditional conferences, Her Brunch 2026 has been intentionally designed to prioritise conversation over presentations, connection over performance and storytelling over perfection. Guests can expect interactive discussions, audience participation, curated networking experiences, luxury gifting and brand activations that encourage authentic engagement.
The organisers believe the timing of this year’s event could not be more relevant. Across South Africa, conversations around burnout, mental wellbeing, female entrepreneurship, workplace equality and community support continue to gain momentum. Her Brunch seeks to contribute meaningfully to those conversations by creating an environment where women can openly discuss both success and struggle, while building lasting relationships rooted in encouragement and collaboration.
With an audience comprising entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, professionals, mothers, community leaders and women of faith, Her Brunch continues to attract women committed to both personal and professional growth while offering brands an opportunity to align with a purpose-driven platform creating measurable social impact.
As anticipation builds for the 2026 edition, one message remains clear: When women gather with intention, extraordinary things happen.
