With sixteen years of winemaking experience, Praisy Dlamini leads HER Wine Collection with distinction. As the first female Protégé of the Cape Winemakers Guild, she is widely recognised for championing transformation through excellence, mentorship and inclusive leadership. Supported by an all-female leadership team whose diverse expertise underpins HER’s success.
Viticulturist Ruth Faro oversees sustainable farming practices across the vineyards, while Logistics Manager Jody-Ann Appolis, who began her career as a cellar worker, manages national distribution. Human Resources Officer, Jeanine Hollenbach drives people development, Accountant Janine Goosen ensures financial integrity, and New Product Development Manager, Nichole van Wyk brings local heritage into daily operations.
Together, the team exemplifies how inclusive leadership fuels both exceptional winemaking and meaningful social change.
A Commitment to Community
Since 2023, HER Wine Collection has allocated 2% of annual sales profits to a scholarship fund supporting young people from vineyard worker families. The fund finances tertiary education across diverse fields, creating pathways for future leaders beyond the wine industry. Proceeds from both new releases contribute directly to this initiative.
