When the mission demanded the impossible, Oakley delivered

In Paramount Pictures’ highly anticipated Mission: Impossible – The Final
Reckoning, hitting theatres this May 2025, Tom Cruise reprises his legendary role as
Ethan Hunt — and takes on what’s being called his most death-defying stunt yet.
Faced with winds exceeding 140 mph and sheer drop altitude of 8,000 feet, Cruise
needed more than just vision — he needed protection, clarity, and confidence at
terminal velocity.

Oakley’s custom eyewear solution delivered just that, redefining the
frontier of what eyewear can do when pushed to the edge of human performance.
“Every detail matters when you’re hanging on to the edge — literally. No shortcuts.
Just raw physicality and precision engineering,” said Nicolas Garfias Oakley VP
Design. “We created eyewear that could withstand the forces of nature — and
Hollywood’s most fearless actor.”

The eyewear blends ultra-light materials, impact resistance, and clarity-enhancing
optics – Oakley ECLPS025 – not only survived the stunt — it helped make it
possible. From the silver screen to the summit of performance gear, Oakley isn’t just watching history — it’s helping make it.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning premieres in the US May 23rd, 2025
(international roll out kicks off May 21st). The one-of-a-kind prototype eyewear
behind the logic defying stunt work in the film, Oakley ECLPS025 will be available to
see at the Oakley Headquarters at One Icon this summer.
