A nationwide search is on to find South Africa’s most unforgettable twins, because looking alike could be the opportunity of a lifetime.
Mzansi, Sizekhaya is on the hunt for the country’s favourite twins to become the faces of its Lotto and PowerBall competitions.
The winning duo will gain huge public exposure by featuring in National Lottery social media content and appearing on live National Lottery draw broadcasts (where applicable) as part of an upcoming campaign celebrating Lotto and PowerBall. They will also benefit from professional photography and video content, says Sizekhaya, the operator of the National Lottery.
“Twins hold a special place in our hearts and our culture; there’s something magical about that bond,” says Kgothatso “KG” Mashile, Head of Marketing at Sizekhaya Holdings.
“We wanted the faces of our Lotto and PowerBall competitions to reflect that same sense of connection, good luck and togetherness that South Africans feel every time they play. This is about celebrating a uniquely South African pair who can bring energy and joy to every draw. We can’t wait to meet the twins who’ll capture the nation’s heart.”
So encourage your favourite twins to enter Sizekhaya’s twin search by 11.59pm on 30 July 2026,to stand a chance of becoming the new faces of South Africa’s two most iconic lottery games, Lotto and PowerBall. The winners will be announced on 3 August 2026,following a judging process.
Whether identical or fraternal, from the city or rural areas, every pair of twins has a story, and Sizekhaya wants to showcase that story through this campaign.
Who can enter?
The competition is open to twins who:
- Are 18 years or older
- Are South African citizens or permanent residents
- Have a valid South African ID or proof of permanent residency Only one entry per set of twins will be accepted.

Create a short, creative video showing what makes you the same yet so wonderfully different.
