Heartshine Welcomes New Board Member

Heartshine, a leading organisation dedicated to healing, empowerment, and trauma-informed support in under-resourced communities, is excited to announce the appointment of Dorcas Dube to its Board of Directors.

Dorcas brings a wealth of experience in communications strategy, social development, and education leadership. As a communications strategist and social development advocate with a Master’s in Strategic Communication, she has been at the forefront of initiatives that bridge business, government, and civil society to foster equity and leadership in schools and communities.

In her new role at Heartshine, Dorcas will contribute to strengthening the organisation’s programmes and strategic vision, using her expertise to expand its impact in trauma-informed interventions, youth empowerment, and community building. She also serves on the boards of EduPulse Africa and Casey Foundation Africa and is the National Marketing and Communications Manager at Citizen Leader Lab, where she drives partnerships that enhance leadership development in under-resourced schools.
