Low-power radio station in Limpopo is taking victory from the jaws of defeat for the first time by airing live on DSTV Channel 265.
Radio Thohoyandou 91.7 MHz in sync with Gautv channel 265 on DSTV will create a huge whirlpool in the nation, according to Mpho Beatrix Makosholo, better known as Zazi, the station manager of Radio Thohoyandou.
Dr. Tuwani Victor Phume, the owner of Gautv and Zallywood, says his vision in connecting Radio Thohoyandou and Gautv is of preeminence importance in the media space, for it functions as a catalyst to hit many birds with one stone.
Radio Thohoyandou 91.7 will broadcast for one hour on Gautv channel 265, Monday through Friday, to highlight some of the province’s events and programs.
The Gauteng administration has taken the initiative to supply TV broadcasting equipment and train Radio Thohoyandou staff on its use.
